For LCD displays, touch screens and plasmas to work effectively in public environments, outdoor display protection is needed against harsh environments and UV radiation. Our glass products provide this protection as well as cutting glare and improving screen viewing. We provide glass to manufacturers of technology enclosures and kiosks used outdoors.

LCD displays and touch screens need to be protected from impacts, gashing and fingering. By making the glass 3 to 5 times stronger, our tempering process gives the best protection to LCD displays and touch screens in outdoor environments. Our anti-glare and anti-reflection coating, applied to both sides, provides extra hardness. Anti-glare and anti-reflection coatings are useful for making all displays easier to view by cutting down on glare and reflection and improving contrast. This helps prevent breakage from impacts and opens a world of possibilities for LCD displays, touch screens and plasmas.

The hydrophobic coating we offer comes in handy as it repels dust, grease and liquids and cleans easily with a dry clean cloth. The hydrophobic coating will not optically change the A/R glass plate. It is extremely durable and repels water, as well as any other undesirable matter, including salt spray. To clean the surface, simply wipe the surface with a dry clean cloth.
